## It's been a few days...
The last entry I made was a during game night on Saturday, it's Tuesday now. I guess there's not anything inherently wrong with skipping a couple days, feels weird though.
## I rearranged the livingroom yesterday
I saw a video about how social media is destroying society. Seriously, no hyperbole. They're not entirely wrong, 'The Art of Storytelling' is absolutely a home for lukewarm takes at best but this one was different. They we're preaching to the choir with me, I'm already on board, but they framed things in a way I think makes a lot of sense to people who don't think like me. Shorts aren't evil, but calling them stories is insidious. There's nothing wrong with reading a microblog stream, but it shouldn't be your only source of news and connection. Vine showed us what random's online can do with 7 seconds, imagine what they could've done with 7 minutes. The couch doesn't face the TV anymore.
## A friend is visiting me today :)
I don't often have company, I'm not usually one to invite people into my space. Actually, I didn't invite this friend, I said something that was misinterpreted as an invitation but that's fine, I'm actually thrilled! My friend is a musician, I think they said they do piano and bowed strings. I'm a guitarist mostly. We're gonna just jam for a bit, have some fun playing. I hope I don't embarrass myself, I've never played music with anyone before except that one time... and I'm not too sure that went as well as it could have. Should I set up the recording equipment? Probably not I think. Maybe?
